We are seeking a resilient, communicative, and results-driven Business Development Representative. In this role, you will be the frontline of our growth, conducting in-depth research on school districts, utilizing outbound channels (cold calls, email, LinkedIn), and booking qualified meetings for our partnership team. This is the perfect launchpad for someone with a tremendous work ethic, a learner’s mindset, and the persuasive skill to build genuine rapport with educational leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on target school districts to understand strategic priorities, key decision-makers, and their unique needs.

  • Utilize multi-channel outreach (cold calling, email sequences, LinkedIn) to build relationships with district cabinet members and schedule discovery meetings.

  • Follow up on warm leads from events and webinars to convert interest into sales opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all contacts and activities in our CRM system (Salesforce experience a plus).

  • Skillfully navigate gatekeepers, handle initial objections, and generate compelling interest in our solutions.

  • Consistently achieve weekly/monthly activity and meeting booking targets.

Who You Are (The Ideal Candidate):

  • Persuasive without being pushy. You build rapport quickly through excellent listening, empathy, and articulate communication (written, phone, and virtual).

  • Possess a strong work ethic, persistence, and the courage to overcome challenges. You are self-motivated and target-oriented.

  • Hungry for knowledge about the EdTech market and eager to develop new sales skills. A post-secondary education is preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google G Suite, and able to learn CRM systems quickly. You manage your time effectively under pressure.

  • You have a genuine interest in education and want to contribute to meaningful solutions for schools.

  • A $40,000 base salary with an uncapped commission structure. Your performance directly drives your earnings, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of up to $90,000+.
