We’re seeking a versatile Product Manager to drive the evolution of HelpSpot, working directly with the founder to shape product strategy while engaging across sales, marketing, and customer success. This role offers unique autonomy and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a stable, profitable company.

Your Mission: Drive Product Excellence Across the Customer Journey

As Product Manager for HelpSpot, you will serve as the central point for product strategy, customer engagement, and market positioning. You’ll translate customer insights into compelling product roadmaps while directly contributing to business growth through hands-on sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmapping: Design and implement product roadmaps based on market research, competitive analysis, and direct customer feedback

  • Sales Leadership: Conduct product demonstrations for prospective customers, manage sales inquiries, and drive conversion through effective follow-up strategies

  • Partner Ecosystem Development: Expand our partner program by identifying ideal partners, performing outreach, and building mutually beneficial relationships

  • Marketing Excellence: Enhance our digital presence across G2, Capterra, and our primary website while managing external content providers

  • Customer Insight: Work directly with customers to understand their needs and translate feedback into product improvements

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with development and support teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product development

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in product management, project management, or product ownership roles

  • Experience with B2B software products and responsibility for user adoption

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfort with public speaking and product demonstrations

  • Ability to thrive in a small, distributed team environment

  • Based in the United States with legal right to work
