About the Role: Creating Compelling Visual Content for Digital Platforms

Are you a passionate photographer with a keen eye for detail and a mastery of digital editing tools? WorkinVirtual is partnering with a leading e-commerce and digital media company to find a talented Junior Photographer to join their globally distributed creative team. This is a unique remote role that focuses on the post-production and asset management side of photography, transforming raw images into polished, brand-aligned visual content.

You will leverage your expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and digital asset management to enhance, organize, and deliver high-quality photography for various digital channels. Your work will directly impact brand presentation, product showcasing, and marketing effectiveness across e-commerce platforms and social media.

Key Responsibilities: Edit, Enhance, and Manage

• Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to perform color correction, cropping, retouching, and background removal on product and lifestyle photography.

• Organize, tag, and maintain a centralized library of digital photographs using Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems for easy retrieval and brand consistency.

• Process and optimize product images for online retail, ensuring they meet technical specifications for platforms like Shopify, Amazon, and other marketplaces.

• Assist in creating visual content for marketing campaigns, social media, and website use, adhering to brand guidelines and creative direction.

• Review and ensure all visual assets meet quality standards for resolution, color accuracy, and composition before publication.

• Work closely with art directors, marketing managers, and other photographers to execute visual concepts and maintain a cohesive brand image.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience in photography, photo editing, or a related visual arts field.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating skills in photo editing, retouching, and image optimization.

• Understanding of digital file formats, color management, and image resolution requirements for web and print.

• Excellent organizational skills and experience with digital asset management or file organization systems.

• A self-motivated work ethic and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fully remote work environment.

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
