We are seeking an accomplished Senior UI Designer to join our elite design team. In this role, you will lead the visual design execution for innovative health products, focusing on native mobile applications (iOS/Android) and web platforms. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to elevate our UI strategy, champion consistency and accessibility, and ensure pixel-perfect implementation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the UI design for Dexcom’s portfolio, including the new Stelo product, ensuring innovation, clarity, and exceptional ease of use.

  • Utilize and contribute to Dexcom’s Design System to maintain high visual standards and cohesive experiences across iOS, Android, and web.

  • Partner closely with UX designers, front-end developers, and product stakeholders to bring design concepts to life and ensure flawless implementation.

  • Socialize ideas, present proposals with confidence, seek alignment, and mentor colleagues in a positive, collaborative culture.

  • Advocate for and implement designs that adhere to platform-specific patterns (Material Design, iOS HIG) and WCAG accessibility guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8-12+ years of professional UI/visual design experience (or 5-7+ years with a Master’s degree).

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in shipping native mobile products (iOS/Android) beyond responsive web, with a deep understanding of platform-specific patterns.

  • Expert proficiency in Figma (or Sketch/Abstract).

  • Exceptional visual design skills with a sharp eye for typography, color, layout, and UI aesthetics.

  • Proven ability to drive projects independently, manage schedules, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with WCAG accessibility standards.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to facilitate effective developer communication.

  • Experience in health tech, medical devices, or other highly regulated industries is a plus.
