The Role: Freelance Chemistry Data Partner
We are seeking highly educated Subject Matter Experts in Chemistry for a flexible, remote, project-based role. As a Data Partner, you will apply your deep domain expertise to create sophisticated, high-quality data that trains advanced AI systems. You will design challenging problems and solutions that push the boundaries of machine reasoning in the chemical sciences.
This is a freelance position offering complete schedule flexibility—work from anywhere in North America on your own time.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop original, complex, and nuanced question-and-answer pairs focused on advanced Chemistry topics.

Create content that requires multi-step problem-solving, critical analysis, and deep subject-matter reasoning.

Produce meticulously detailed, accurate, and clearly articulated solutions that serve as benchmark data.

Collaborate with AI teams to review and refine content quality for specific project objectives.

Ensure all work meets rigorous academic and technical standards for AI training data.
Basic Qualifications:

Non-negotiable Educational Requirement: A completed Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Associate’s Degree in Chemistry.

Exceptional English writing proficiency with flawless grammar, clarity, and the ability to distill complex concepts into precise explanations.

A strong passion for Chemistry and education, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Previous experience in AI data projects, tutoring, textbook authoring, or academic research is a significant advantage.
Hiring Process:
Qualified candidates will be invited to complete a subject-specific qualification exam to demonstrate expertise, followed by a standard ID verification process.
Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive hourly rates ranging from $20 to $50 USD. Final rate is determined by:
