About the Role

As Director of Product Marketing for MetaMask, you will define and execute the go-to-market strategy for new financial products and experiences. This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role focused on positioning, messaging, and driving global adoption.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and growth teams to shape how users perceive and engage with the platform as it expands into new markets and use cases.


Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing Strategy & Positioning

  • Define product marketing strategy for MetaMask’s next growth phase
  • Shape positioning and messaging for new consumer finance features
  • Translate complex technical and financial concepts into clear user narratives

Go-To-Market Execution

  • Lead end-to-end GTM strategies from product launch to scaled adoption
  • Drive campaigns focused on user acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Identify new audience segments and growth opportunities

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams on launch strategies
  • Collaborate with growth and analytics teams to optimize performance
  • Influence decision-making across teams without formal authority

User-Centric Storytelling

  • Advocate for clarity, trust, and usability in all communications
  • Ensure messaging resonates across global and diverse audiences
  • Align product marketing with evolving consumer expectations

Team Development & Scaling

  • Build and refine product marketing frameworks and processes
  • Mentor team members and support function growth
  • Balance hands-on execution with strategic leadership

Requirements / Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing or consumer marketing roles
  • Proven experience leading marketing for consumer-facing financial or transactional products
  • Strong ability to define strategy and execute independently
  • Experience working closely with product, growth, and engineering teams
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech, neobanks, or consumer platforms
  • Exposure to global markets and international product launches
  • Experience repositioning products into broader platforms or ecosystems
  • Background in customer insights, user research, or data-driven marketing
