Speechify, a fast-growing startup revolutionizing audio information consumption, is searching for a passionate and experienced Senior Android Engineer to join our remote team.
What You’ll Do:
- Play a critical role in building and shaping our new Android app.
- Take ownership of major app features, collaborating closely with our design team.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of key features.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive engineering culture.
- Work closely with Product and Design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on Android development.
- Proficient in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, and other relevant Android technologies.
- Experience building and shipping high-quality Android applications.
- A passion for crafting intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with open-source Android projects.
- Familiarity with iOS, Web, or NodeJS development.
